Ok, so. I ignored my headaches and pigeonholed my real life to do some hardcore tv watching for
hours days. I wish I could have time offs like this more often. Well, what came around is mostly covered by the following:
• The new
Supernatural. Oh show, how much I love you! ♥
( Once upon a time ... )• Last weeks
Friday Night Lights of which I can't remember that much cause my brain is flooded with other tv information right now.
( Welcome home, coach Taylor! ) • I TOTALLY dove into a new fandom!
Kyle XY ♥. I actually just wanted to try out the pilot among the first eps of some other shows to see what's in the box (lol) and MAYBE decide on an additional show to watch. But I got completely hooked after a few minutes and BÄM ... I watched the entire first season in two days. *stamps tv junkie on forehead* Well, here's my
( Season 1 pribble-prabble )• OMG lol, the NBC plans a
remake of Knight Rider.
• Oh and what's much more worth to talk (and somehow worry) about is
Dollhouse. Joss Whedons (yeah, the Buffy Whedon!) new show starring Eliza Dushku (yeah right, Faith!).
Echo (Eliza Dushku) [is] a young woman who is literally everybody's fantasy. She is one of a group of men and women who can be imprinted with personality packages, including memories, skills, language—even muscle memory—for different assignments. The assignments can be romantic, adventurous, outlandish, uplifting, sexual and/or very illegal. When not imprinted with a personality package, Echo and the others are basically mind-wiped, living like children in a futuristic dorm/lab dubbed the Dollhouse, with no memory of their assignments—or of much else. The show revolves around the childlike Echo's burgeoning self-awareness, and her desire to know who she was before, a desire that begins to seep into her various imprinted personalities and puts her in danger both in the field and in the closely monitored confines of the Dollhouse.Read more

The first seven episodes for which FOX has already committed could air next spring already. God, please don't let them srew this up! Please? KThanks. No, seriously I really fear this to backfire badly. Cause Whedon/Dushku is such a great oldschool team and a new show penned by Buffys "father" - that's an uber high level of expectations and excitement. Isn't it? The fans will be merciless. I really hope this won't turn out as an Buffy remake covered in some crappy storyline. *crossesfingers*
At least, I mean .. if they don't screw it there's a shiney new fandom ahead! :D
• Okay, everything going on with the Writers Guild striking? Very narrow outlook my friends.
• I totally forgot to squee about last weeks
